Types of Leads

Leads shall be categorized by their potential effectiveness as either "Cold", "Warm", or "Hot".

  1. A "Cold" lead is one where the name of the company is given. Don't use my name, or they don't know me.
  2. A "Warm" lead is one where the name of the company is given along with the name of the contact person. You have not made a personal introduction, but the referred may use your name.
  3. A "Hot" lead is where the name of the company is given. You have talked with or written the contact person about the referred, and they are expecting the call. Orders and reorders from current Network Cabarrus members are also Hot leads.

Membership

  1. Limit. The membership of this organization shall be limited to one member per industry.
  2. Qualification. Qualifications of a member will be determined by the elected board of Network Cabarrus.

Types of Membership

The following is a description of and qualifications for each type of membership

  1. ACTIVE MEMBER is a regular member and:
    • Is required to pay quarterly dues
    • Has voting privileges on all Network Cabarrus matters
    • May hold an office
    • May be elected to the Board of Directors
  2. ASSOCIATE MEMBER is affiliated with a regular member from the same company. The purpose of this membership is to share the responsibility of attending Network Cabarrus meetings. This membership is attained by the same procedures as for an active, regular member, and has all the rights and privileges of a Regular Member.

Membership Dues: $30.00 per quarter

Required quarterly, due and payable at the first meeting of the General membership each quarter.

Conduct of Members

A member shall exchange leads and ideas with other members. They shall make themselves available to help other members make business contacts beneficial to them. A member shall attend all regular meetings and other functions of Network Cabarrus as a priority in their business activity, and should actively support the purpose of the organization at all times. A member shall pay their dues in a timely manner.

Termination of Membership

Membership in Network Cabarrus may be terminated for the following reasons:

  1. Misconduct or unethical business transactions;
  2. Absence from seven (7) regular meetings of Network Cabarrus within one calendar year without notifying a member of such absence in advance;
  3. Persistent inactivity in the affairs and purpose of Network Cabarrus. The Secretary shall notify the offending member in writing of the particular grounds for termination of membership. If the member fails to respond or to appear, the Board shall terminate the member and the Secretary shall notify them in writing of this action.
  4. Non-payment of dues.The Treasurer will notify the Secretary of any member who is 90 days in arrears on dues. The Secretary will notify the member in writing that their membership may be revoked by the Board of Directors without further appeal, unless their dues are brought current immediately. If the member does not comply immediately, such termination proceedings may take place.
